About FoodAgDIR

Food&AgDIR is a tool for members to quickly locate state, local, and federal regulatory agencies involved in farm-to-table food safety regulation.

This secure database profiles agencies and agency personnel that perform a variety of functions:

• food safety regulation;
• food, restaurant, and agricultural inputs inspection;
• outbreak investigation;
• food safety policy-making; and
• emergency response.

All of these profiles are kept current and accurate through an automated email system that prompts users for contact information updates and alerts FoodSHIELD staff to non-respondents.

Food&AgDIR is a fully searchable database containing a wealth of food protection and defense information that exists nowhere else in a single, secure location. Members with secure access are able to easily identify their peers in other agencies, as well as key agricultural, animal health, human health, environmental health, and law enforcement contacts around the nation.
